One piece of kit that you’ll always see in my videos and pictures is my Keith Titanium Canteen Mess Kit. Which seems to be the same as the Heavy Cover version that has been re-branded. I really don’t know what the deal is with all of that. What I do know, is that this is incredible piece of kit. It’s lightweight, durable, and goes with me on every adventure in the woods. While the price point will probably make you fall out of your chair, this falls into the “buy once, cry once” category. I’ve beaten the hell out of this thing and it’s still works great.

You’re probably thinking, “I can get a stainless steel mess kit for 30 bucks.” Right you are. However, titanium is a superior combination of high strength and low weight ratios when compared to steel. It’s also more corrosive resistant. Which means that this beauty will be sticking around for quite a while.

If you’re in the market for a lightweight, sturdy, and versatile piece of kit that you don’t mind shelling out some serious dough for, this is for you. If your wife will have your balls in a vice when she sees the receipt, stick with the stainless steel. Either way you go, it’s a great addition to your loadout that you’ll be glad you have.
